Monocraft Products Co.,Inc. was started in NYC in 1927 by Michael and Jay Chernow and the name Monet was first used about 1937. Originally conceived as a monogram company to add initials to automobiles and then to handbags, the company turned to jewelry in the late 1930s and eventually went entirely to jewelry production around 1960. Always known for their high standards of quality, they used a triple plating process on their pieces to wear exceptionally well.

Each link has a textured rope knotted design with 3 small faux turquoise stones. The bracelet is secured with a silver-tone snap-lock clasp. Bracelet marked "AVON" on the clasp back. It is in excellent condition.
